Is this accurate? Cbd through heat can turn into d9 and d8?
I have some 5 year old full spectrum cbd distillate that smacks a lot harder than it used to. It has also gone from yellow solid to red liquid (which freezes back to yellow solid after like a week in the freezer), which in my experience means more cbn content. But that's usually with high thc blends. This has 4% thc max.
Now this says cbd turns into cbdq and thats through oxidation. However it was air tight. And what I got mostly was heat exposure which says it can turn into d9??? Or d8???
Now im familiar with acidic things or everclear being washed with cbd to make d8 (similar process for d9 to d8 but why would you commit such blasphemy) but if this is accurate than I either have cbdq or, as i see it, through heat exposure that its now either cbn or a magical blend of d9 d8 cbd cbn and other minors.
😍 one can dream thats true but all i know is i added some strawberry jam terpenes from mass terpenes and it hits so hard now, unlike how it used to. It used to be decent but the terpenes made it soar to the heavens in awesome medicinalness. 2 dabs makes me nod off to sleep for a few hours unlike any claims people make about cbd, especially the part where i actually achieve, what i think is the same but safe to say, very similar buzz to my thc dabs. Is it the 4% thc It has? Is it the terpenes (i think this)? Or is it cbdq/cbn?
Any insight? Should i be aging cbd distillate for these effects?
Truly just curious. I'm going with "if it works, who cares?"
Im going to be getting more to experiment but id like to know what the community thinks/knows on the subject.
