Does indicating employer sponsorship in an M7 MBA application influence scholarship consideration or admissions outcomes?

Also, for fully sponsored candidates (e.g., MBB/Big 4 sponsorship), how are merit scholarships typically handled? Does the student retain the scholarship funds, or are they used to reduce the firm's contribution?
