Hi, Im new to Davinci Resolve, and editing in general. I just wanted to explore this hobby and also bought a new Macbook Pro M5 to go along with it.

However, it seems like my laptop is struggling. Just playing through my edits it goes laggy and often times crashes. Am i doing something wrong? Was there a setting a missed out to make this smoother? Or is the laptop not powerful enough?

Im only doing basic edits tho so i thought this laptop would suffice. Need help!

Memory - 24 GB
macOS - Tahoe Version 26.5
