I hope this is okay to ask. I've Googled endlessly but keep coming up short and am slowly losing my mind planning this trip. We are driving from IJMuiden to the French Ardennes later this month and I'm trying to figure out the best place to stop for a couple of hours with two toddlers.

It looks like Antwerp is pretty much halfway along our route but I gather the parking/traffic situation is bad and we won't have enough time for the park + ride to be worth it.

I really just want somewhere we can stretch our legs, have something to eat and soak up some culture. Do you have any suggestions? I'm open to anything, museums, parks, towns etc. Thanks!
