Favorites are very subjective yes and this song is different from their nu metal style for sure. It's really not hitting me that this songs on the top 5 for many people tho. I'm not sure how to feel about this song, especially when I'm more of a fan of the first two records. Maybe I'm not immersed enough in the song or maybe I'm not seeing it's strong points. I also have the same opinion with soldier side, but after immersion and a lot of listens it has became one of my favorite soad songs(soldier side). So I was wondering if anyone who loves this song can maybe get me more into it.

For me, I'm more of a spiders guy. These two songs are really similar in their sounds honestly. Although I have to give the musical edge to aerials, I think it has a better riff and composition overall. Still I prefer spiders, it's honestly an amazing ballad and I'm surprised they came up with that on their debut. Then again self titled is my favorite album.
