Hybrid/EV options not named Honda, Toyota or Mazda?

Planning for a few years down the road for a family SUV, as well as a new car for my wife. More context:

I currently drive a sportier sedan, which won’t work space-wise for future planned baby needs. My wife’s car is 12+ years old and 150k+ miles. Still a good car, but we want to give this car to my parents as an A-to-B car for them to still be mobile; their car is on its last legs.

We live in a HCOL area where gas prices are structurally higher, so the delta between gas and electricity is wider.

I’ve been considering a few models for the SUV, would appreciate thoughts from those who have owned or test-driven any of these.

Volvo XC60 Recharge T8
Lexus RX 350h

Overall, I want a slightly elevated interior feel instead of mainstream - it’ll be my commute car plus family car, so would want a certain level of comfort. I know Volvo will have higher cost of ownership on average, but going into that with eyes open.

Wife’s car:

Polestar 2 LR
Genesis GV60

She wants full electric sedan, with similar elevated interior feel and something a bit different. Polestar is more minimalist for sure, but good EV range. Of course we had considered something like a RAV4, CR-V or CX-70, but didn’t picture driving that every day.

Thanks in advance
