Posting to see if anyone has any tips. I am doing some nuisance trapping on a 50 acre lake. I took 30 muskrats two winters ago, 15 last winter. I just set yesterday some colony traps and two wire cage floats that are baited with carrots and apples. Seeded the shoreline with carrots.

Anyway, I haven't found any absolutely bomber runs, water visibility is good but I don't see any beaten down paths in vegetation. Anyway, open to any tips. Should I just stick to baited floats, use lure, etc?

Thanks for any tips.

After being forced to watch this commercial for the thousandth time on Amazon I sought out a way to express my displeasure. That's how I found all of you!

There was a distinct possibility of jamming a writing utensil in my ears if I could not find someone to vent to. Seems like we should at least send a complaint to the fcc.
