Ok value or wait for 2026 models (canada)

Hey all. My 2021 g14s motherboard went. Looking to replace it. I'm a bit out of touch when it comes to pricing. I found a 5070ti for 3500cad and a 5080 for 3800.

Just wondering either worth it or should I wait for the 2026s to become available.

Budget 2500-4k

Location: canada

Use: gaming, day to day use etc

Been looking for an 7i with at least a 5070ti under 3k but no luck. I'm mainly looking for something to last a significant amount of time. I'd be coming from a 2022 g14 that had the motherboard fail in only 4 years. Pretty disappointing.

Found a 5080 for 3800cad all said and done. I'm worried it's overkill but I'm wanting something that I don't have to worry about upgrading for many years to come (6-8)

Distant Thunder is the first rose to open up this year. I'm loving the unique colours it's been putting out!

Hey all. Honestly with all the different options and specs I'm pretty lost on what to get. Mainly looking for something that will be a good value and last long term. We like to game but nothing too intensive.

Initially looking at an 5070 or 70ti just to help keep the laptop viable for a few extra years.

Any advice or opinions would be great appreciated.

Wanting to spend ideally around the max of 2600cad but we have wiggle room.

Hey all planted this peach late last summer. This spring it blossomed and looks like it's already producing preaches. It's in a sheltered south facing area in a 7b zone.

The tree was pruned late winter. As it's woken up with some of the leaves looking curled and sparse. If it is leaf curl do I just ride it out until the end of season then treat next spring? This is my first peach tree. So any advice would be appreciated

Hey all unfortunately my g14s motherboard has quit. I've been told it's not worth to fix as it will be close to 1200cad for a used board+ install.

Just wondering what the consensus here is. Is it worth the fix or should I start looking for a suitable replacement.

Any opinions welcome.
