Coinstar of a lifetime!

I work at a grocery store that has a coinstar, and whenever I hear it go off I try to go over and let the person know that I'll buy any of their rejects. Yesterday, two old ladies came in with two shoeboxes full of coins. I walked over there and told them that I was a coin collector, and that I would buy any of their rejects for over face value. They said they didn't want to rip me off and refused more money, so I paid $10 for $10.95 in constitutional, after I gave my coworker a dollar worth that's still getting them for face value! I'm going to check the internal reject tray today and see if anything got tossed back. That machine is definitely protected by the local CSK army member.

Antique shops in my area vary wildly on their coins prices, but this looker was criminally undervalued and all by itself. I can't tell if the toning is natural or not, I assume it's been heavily cleaned. Anyone else like keeping their eyes on the mom and pop shops?
