If the UCI banned mid-race bike swaps, how do you think it would change bike and component design?

Assume wheel changes for flats are still allowed, but otherwise you're stuck with whatever your mechanic can fix roadside. No fresh bike from the team car.

My guess is we'd see a big push toward durability and serviceability. Frames and components that are currently "fast but fragile" would need to actually survive a full race, and things like cable routing and derailleur access would have to be wrench-friendly under pressure.

Not looking to debate the logistics of implementing such a rule, more curious what you all think the downstream effect would be for everyday riders and the wider market.
