When I first started carving, I thought I was going to hate the finishing/painting steps at the end. Not that everything you carve needs to be painted, just curious what other people’s feelings are about the finishing and painting part. Now after I’ve done a few I enjoyed the finishing/painting part just as much as the whittling.
