FL agents, how do you want proptech vendors to approach you?

Honest question for the agents and brokers here. [Mods, feel free to delete if this isn't allowed].

I sell software in this space for a living. I'm with an early-stage startup based out of Boca Raton, so this market is home turf. I know your inbox and DMs are flooded with vendor pitches, and "don't reach out at all" isn't a realistic option on my side. I'd rather do it the right way.

Context on what I'm selling so the question makes sense: the product is free for agents, brokers, and buyers. Vendors at close pay. Not a "buy my SaaS" pitch, but I still have to introduce myself to people who don't know me.

Genuinely curious what works on your end:

  • What channel actually gets through (email, LinkedIn, phone, in-person at events)?
  • What does a first message look like that you'd read past the first line?
  • Fastest way to get sent straight to spam or blocked?
  • Does a referral from another agent or broker change anything?
  • Time of day or week, or is that irrelevant?

Happy to share back what I learn from the thread if it's useful to others getting the same pitches.
