Today I learned that I'm actually a hateful bigoted troll

I was banned from a subreddit and reported for "hate speech" because I made a post voicing some skepticism on the validity of an identity based group that I will not name out of fear of being reported again.

I know what you're probably thinking. I'm just another troll, or asshole, that goes around making rage-baiting posts, under the guise of "genuine inquiry."

It's turns out that unbeknownst to me that's true!

I used inclusive language that is particular to the group. I made sure to make clarifications that show that I've done some of my homework and have an understanding of the overarching themes and assumptions that people outside of the group normally don't have. I was careful not to use any disparaging or abusive language. I was clear and honest about my background and potential biases.

I only did this to make them let their guards down though.

I voiced that this type of identity doesn't seem real to me because it's so outside of my normal experience, but asked for some personal perspectives that might help me understand better. I also argued there's a type of bias that's common and hard to notice in that group specifically, and asked if they were aware of and had reflected on this kind of bias and still felt the way they felt.

In other words, I didn't take their identities at face value. I still had some questions before I could truly accept it.

This means I want them wiped off the face of the earth and that I will never take their opinions or experiences seriously. That and I want to revel in their rage induced suffering.

I should have known that bias is only for mean republicans and normal people. (normal people can't help it, but republicans do it on purpose).

I tried telling them that I am in fact liberal, but it turns out that was just a lie I made up so they wouldn't immediately discount me as an ignorant buffoon.

Basically, what I learned from this, is that if someone identifies a certain way, to question the reasonableness of it, in any way shape or form is fundamentally hate speech.

Questioning it from a medical perspective? Hate speech!

Questioning it from a biological perspective? Hate speech!

Questioning it from a psychological perspective? Hate speech!

Questioning it from a philosophical perspective? Hate speech!

Questioning bias in "liberal" frameworks? Extra Hate speech!

Being open to opposing views and opinions? The real dirty and sneaky kind of hate speech!

The real cherry on top of this whole thing, is that after getting banned I never truly repented my sin. Instead I made an arguably funny post on r/Rants, that used satire to express my frustration.

Unfortunately, satire is also a form of hate speech, but I already knew this, after all, I'm just a bigoted troll.
