I spend a lot of time in the sun over summer and I’m always conscious of colour fading. Last summer was my first system and I was completely oblivious to the concept of colour fade.

This year I’m determined not to let my system fade as much so I bought this leave-in conditioner from The Scruffy Hair Co that supposedly protects it from fade. I think it’s working pretty well and I use it most days although it’s not been that sunny in the UK so far. However, my hair is dark brown and from what I’ve read this particular product may be more appropriate for lighter hair colours.

So, what UV/colour fade products should I be using for dark brown hair and is the product in pic appropriate?
