What film most embodies Britain in the 70s?
I asked Dominic this question a few years back and his answer was ‘Get Carter’. To the best of my recollection he picked the film due to its setting of blue color malaise, decay, and bleakness.
Do you agree?
He also said ‘The Deer Hunter’ best represented America in the 70s (as a native yinzer where the film was set and shot) I agree.
