Took a truck to a mechanic shop to diagnose a problem it was having. they diagnosed the problem ordered the part and fixed the vehicle without permission or estimate. said the vehicle was ready to be picked up and was told the cost of the repair. does mechanic shops have to get written approval of estimated work prior to repairing vehicle.
