Anyone running a vaccum pump for the brake servo ?
Toying with an idea to improve brake pedal feel.
I have an r35 master and booster conversion on my R32 GTR
It’s a great upgrade and is fine on the road, but It can be quite inconstant on track as the engine obviously can’t generate vacuum when on boost and imo it’s too soft and hard to regulate for trail braking.
I had thought about doing similar to OEMs and using 12v vaccum pump and pressure switch to reduce the amount of vacuum assistance to make the pedal stiffer and have a constant supply so it’s consistent.
Has anyone done something similar ?
Before you comment this is a definite vaccum issue on track only, I have already braced the fire wall, RPF660, have tried multiple brands of pad, 6 pot fronts, 4 pot rears, 2pc discs, braided lines, brake cooling ducts etc etc
