Trade at your own risk

Don't let anyone convince you to do GTS trades where you trade your pokemon first.
- Only trades on Pokemon HOME (#1)(#2)
- Screenshots of HOME offers are in Spanish
- Often asks for multiple pokemon in return for 1 pokemon
- I suggest checking out the Zesty account and Google Lens/ cross-reference to see if trade offers are similar (from a Spanish HOME account)
- Block anyone you think seems suspicious
- Check to see how old the trader's account is before trading
- If you trade on r/PokemonHOME, they offer a Mod trade service where you can tag a moderator to oversee the trade and verify high value trades
- It is safer to trade in a sub with more active moderators in general, otherwise you will need to do as much as you can to take precaution with trades
Oldest account banned on r/PokemonHome and r/CasualPokemonTrades after I contacted Mods.
I moderate r/PokemonLZATrades, where I have instructed Automod to remove posts from accounts less than a week old, and has less than 10 Karma (they can still comment, but they will be assigned a NEW ACCOUNT user flair). I have also instructed Automod to send me a copy of any submission or comment via Modmail so I can track all accounts under 30 days old (not shown in the screenshots above).
New accounts cannot start DMs you, so they will ask you to DM them instead.
I'm updating my original post, not this one (turned off notifs on this post). Stay safe!
