AJIO delivered a cancelled order and now won’t pick it up or refund – what am I supposed to do?

I’m seriously fed up with AJIO’s service and need advice or visibility on this.

I ordered a pair of shoes and cancelled the order within 10 minutes. Despite that, after 2 days I got a notification saying the order had been dispatched. I immediately cancelled it AGAIN through the app and even called customer care, clearly telling them NOT to deliver it.

Guess what? They still delivered it on 17 March.

Since then, I’ve been trying to get it picked up and refunded. I’ve called them 6–7 times, sent emails, and each time they just give false assurances. First pickup date was 28 March, then it got pushed to 2 April. No one showed up.

I even emailed them saying I have to go out of station (Uttarakhand) for a month due to a family marriage, so either process this quickly or just refund me. They replied saying “someone will contact you.” No one did.

Today I called again, explained my situation, and they still had the audacity to ask for 2 more days.

Like seriously?? Who delivers a product that’s been cancelled TWICE on the app and once via call, and then makes the customer chase them for more than 15 days?

Now I have to leave today. What am I supposed to do? Stay back and miss a family function just to wait for their pickup guy? Or leave the product with someone at home and hope they show up (which they probably won’t)?

At this point, I don’t even care about the return process anymore. I just want my refund. This is completely unacceptable.

If anyone has faced something similar or knows how to escalate this (consumer court, grievance email, etc.), please help.

AJIO, if you’re reading this — this is beyond pathetic service.
