Weird issue on 1st bike
I just bought a Kawasaki z400 abs from 2021. The bike has 3000 miles on. The other day I was riding it and, ill admit, I was upshifting a little late. I let it get to about 6k RPMs before I upshifted to the next gear. I should also note that the bike got pretty warm. 5 out of the 6 bars were lit up for heat.
When I pulled into a parking lot, I hit the kill switch to talk to some of my friends. When I tried to start the bike again, nothing. No sound, no attempt from the bike to start up, just nothing. I made sure the kill switch was off, the bike was in neutral and the kickstand was down. I then tried it with the clutch pulled in, the kickstand up and the bike still in neutral. It took about 30 minutes, but my friends noticed a loose bolt where my oil pan was along with a lose kickstand. They tightened them up and were able to get it started. However I doubt that was the reason it started back up.. Does anyone know what could have happened?
It started right up every time after that and it never had a problem starting before either. It was so weird and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this issue, or experienced something similar.
