Midi pad for samples?
Hello!
I have been dj’ing for my friends for about 2 years now and playing at a local venue for about 2 months.
I want to add more of my own flair and would like to have a specific midi pad of some kind to attach all my samples to.
When I play with my friends I really like them getting to be involved. I have an flx4 and use the pads for a lot of other things not limited to samples. I’d like to have something dedicated for my samples so my friends can press them and not worry about if I’m not actually in the sample section at the time (if this makes sense?).
I’ve seen some suggestions of akai or launchpads but I just want to know if they’d actually work for my “live” playing style or if I should look at a different brand that is just a midi pad and not a keyboard and other things?
