PSA: DRAGONLORD MEMORY

Hey guys, hope this reaches people before they waste too many keys....

Dragonlord shrine and its associated just dropped, and I'm confident I'm not the only one who's a conpletionist here. Unfortunately, this Is a missable S rank, and an important one at that, we need it for the mage tree. Here's a Rundoen of the math associated with how many keys are available to us and how many memories it takes to grab one before it's too late.

The S rank drsgonlord memory takes 240 D rank Memories to craft, the crafting order I'd as follows:

-C rank: 3x D rank Memories

-B rank: 4xC rank Memories, 12x D rank Memories

-A rank: 4 B rank Memories, 16 C rank Memories, 48 D rank Memories

-S rank: 5 A rank Memories, 20 B rank Memories, 80 C rank Memories, 240 D rank Memories.

The 142 Keys available to us are as follows:

-35 Daily Keys

-2 Chest Keys

-21 Gem Keys available today

-21 Keys available every week till the event ends after the next five days, for a total of 84 keys

Long story short, there are not enough keys to fund a single S rank memory. Hopefully, nond of us are unfortunate enough to only recieve D ranks, but I strongly suggest purchasing keys as they come until you get that S rank. Keep in mind some Shrines will include 2 Memories with a rift.

I wish everyone luck, and sincerely hope no one gets stuck without one. May the odds be ever in your favor. Cheers 🍻

Has Anyone hit Master Rank?

This notice has me genuinely curious as to whether it's even possible to hit master rank yet, as the highest score I've seen from someone with full ascension level 5 equipment was 46k om the fencer. Hitting 60k on both just seems absolutely impossible, am I tripping? Has someone actually hit master already?

GUIDE UPDATED FOR DQ1 CHAPTER 2

IN THIS GUIDE:

-Class Stat increases and Permanent stat Boosts

-Memories Needed to fill slot requirements

-General tips/ Progression reccomendations

Hey everyone, hope everyone's enjoying the game as much as I am so far. For context I'm entirely F2P and plan to keep it that way, which means I, like many others, will need to make sure I'm making the most out of every possible upgrade to my party. One of the most important mechanics in this game are the Vocation trees, and there's alot to unpack here. To make it easier for others, and to have a personal reference sheet, I figured I'd make a guide for anyone with Vocation related questions. Let's get into it:

Each Vocation has multiple ways of buffing your character, these include:

-Raw stat Boosts (Ex. STR+)

-Damage Taken/Dealt multipliers (Ex. Breath Res +%)

-Party Buffs (Ex. Warrior "Courage")

-Solo Skills.( Ex. Mage "Sages Breath")

-Memory Nodes

The following is a Summary of Each class' list of Buffs and Skills within their tree when all nodes are complete at level 55 with all memory slots filled to meet requirements:

CONCLUSION

It will take months to reach level 50 with each Vocation on a single character, but for anyone curious, here are the total Hero Boosts, and why it's going to be important to decide when to bring another class rather than wasting XP:

STRENGTH: +47

RESILIENCE: +27

HP: +44

MAGIC DEFENSE: +42

MAGIC MIGHT: +25

MAGIC MENDING: 19

DEFTNESS: +36

Overall, 4 of the 5 classes are valid and are worth putting the time into, the only outlier being the PRIEST. Your Best class for Pure DPS is going to be the martial artist, although I'm sure we will eventually be facing dungeons which require Magic so I'd make a point to at least be raising a mage as a secondary class so you don't end up scrambling to make ends meet when that does happen.

When it comes to what to prioritize, I would make sure I'm raising a mage and a Martial Artist to ensure getting the highest DPS regardless of what requirements are thrown at us, and then have your third character as either a Thief, or a Warrior. I'm sure there is a better pick of the 2, personally I chose warrior, but I have heard decent point regarding the speed boost from thief allowing for higher Damage output, while the Warrior is for prioritizing survivability.Once picking your classes, I would raise the party to Level 40 (I can currently clear almost anything at this level), and then raise your other vocations to level 20 to receive the Permanent stat Increases ( this takes around 92000 xp, and can be done with 3 metal slime tickets). Once finished with events and time sensitive tasks, and you've done as much as you can story wise, repeat the dungeons which drop Memories associated with filling your Vocation tree slots, as this is going to be the most time consuming aspect of maxing out job trees other than simply reaching level 50. Save your gems to pull equipment associated with your preffered vocations, and make sure to grind the shards you need on weekends.

Quick additional tip, if you're able to clear some of the Gauntlet, there are 25 large crystals of each color in the Gauntlet Swap Shop, this will allow you to unlock one of the memory slots for your Vocation way faster than grinding then out in lodestone quests, the large stones are rare.

Really hope this helps some people out, took a few hours but now anyone who needs info on Vocation trees should have everything they need. Kick Safe and Stay Ass boys, Cheers 🍻
