Getting a walking pad for WFH was actually worth it (lost 2kg in 2 months)
I used to go hiking almost every weekend, so staying active was never really something I had to think about. Then WFH job happened and my steps dropped a lot. Some days I’d barely move at all. So I made it kind of a rule for myself to hit at least 2k steps during the workday, including whatever normal steps I get, and the rest I try to cover while working using a walking pad keeping it realistic. I also kept a small calorie deficit, nothing too strict. It’s not a huge change, but over the last couple of months I’ve been more consistent and it added up more than I expected.
