Did PT help you? Had my intake appt this morning and it doesn’t seem like the things they’re focusing on are going to help

I’ve done a lot of rehabbing my foot by myself and really only have that awful lingering morning pain and pain a couple hours after workouts that subsides next day.

They have me focusing on balance stuff and strengthening left and right motions with my foot. I get the strengthening stuff there in general but nothing is heel focused where my pain is. And he wants me to do therapy for both feet, even though only my right has PF and my left is totally fine. Is that normal? I just don’t want to waste my time or money.

What are you doing to keep your fitness up? Being sedentary with this BS condition is really starting to take a toll on me physically and mentally.

I thought I was doing so much better so I walked 3 mi yesterday on the treadmill at 3.6 speed. Felt great. No pain. Stretched a ton afterward. Seemed like it would all be smooth sailing. NGL, I was overjoyed. But cut to that evening in the grocery store and the pain came rushing back. 😭😭😭

I guess I’m not ready for my fitness walking. When does this BS ever end?

So what are you doing to stay fit? The thought of joining a pool doesn’t appeal to me, although I’m sure laps would be an amazing workout throughout the week. Are you good on the elliptical? The bike?

I’m so over this shit and ready for a padded room.
