Looking for tech or suggestions to handle tight parking spots
We recently purchased a 2026 Sienna XSE. It's been great, but I admit I've been struggling to pull into tight parking spots. I will often need to back up and retry to get lined up correctly (or at leat "good enough"). Our last car was also a minivan (Mazda 5) but it was much smaller so I'm having trouble adjusting to the longer, wider vehicle.
Does anyone have any suggestions for improving the parking lot experience? Backing into spots isn't practical for most of the spots we use regularly (and honestly I'm just not a "back into parking spots" kind of guy). I'm intrigued by Beatsonic's front facing camera but I can't find any reviews for how much it actually helps. I'm also curious if I'm overcomplicating the problem, and all I need is an extra-or-better-placed mirror, some arcane parking trick, or just "more practice".
