I’ve had my M3 for years and to my knowledge everything works in this area of the door — all doors lock, all doors unlock, hold key to roll window down, etc.

Obviously there is a very similar connector right next to it, and both sets of wires are routed back into the car.

But this connector has always been cut and zip-tied to the crash beam. Anyone know what it is?
