I’ve been following my local junior league pretty casually over the years (s/o Sioux Falls) but I’m wanting to get more into the NHL. I know it might be Ovechkin and Crosby’s final year, I know the Sabres turned it around impressively this year while Florida missed the playoffs after winning the Stanley Cup twice in a row, and I know the Mammoth have a badass Zamboni.

What else should I know as the first playoff weekend occurs?
