Advertising advice - need some guidance
Hi all - I’m an attorney and have my own law firm. I get a good chunk of business through word of mouth but I advertise as well. I have been using hibu for the last several years. I know many people have horror stories with hibu . . . I’d say my experience is neutral.
Anyway, I wanted some advice from people who aren’t trying to sell me something. I’m paying hibu for SEO and also pay per click google ads. When I go on the dashboard to look at my pay-per-click results, they will have the name/phone number of who clicked on the ad. So I went and looked at the last 30 days, and there were 78 calls that resulted from clicks. But of those 78 calls, only five were for potential new clients. A huge chunk of the clicks were from people who are current clients; I’m speculating that they needed to call for some reason and googled my firm name and then clicked on the ad to get the phone number.
I’m paying anywhere from $700-$900 a month for these pay-per-clicks. If those five potential new clients end up hiring my firm, then I definitely make my money back for the ad fees. But I’m thinking it might be better to just drop these pay-per-click ads and focus on SEO? Any thoughts or recommendations?
I can afford the ad fees, but I want to be as smart as possible with my spending.
