So, I had a pretty significant NDE as a child... I fell into a lake at 3 years old, unable to swim, and was missing for almost 20 minutes.. I have vivid memories of being out of my body and looking down at them performing CPR on me, and then being zapped back in a flash, and spitting water in their faces... breathing and alive, but feeling heavy and also a little sad I was back tbh. Not because I wanted to die, but because the place I had experienced was so peaceful and connected to love, no pain, no sadness, no heaviness. Only way I have always been able to describe it, and my other memories surrounding it are a little blurry, so I knew that one was real.

Anyway, I was forbidden to talk about any of it while growing up and would be punished or told I was lying... my parents felt guilty and would have preferred I forgot all about it... but of course I didn't. Instead, it made me seek answers even more... through books, religion, science etc... my entire life, but never brought it up to them again. That is, until about two years ago, when my mom actually brought it up to me and told me details and that I had actually been underwater for 20 MINUTES, not 4 like I was always told. She was very sick from pancreatic cancer at the time and I guess that is why she finally told me... but, whaaaat? Beyond 5 minutes underwater for a child causes irreversible brain damage... it's very rare for it not to, but there are some cases I have found through my research. Very few though.

Has anyone else here experienced a similar "miracle" NDE and what can you remember from it? I know I can't be the only one.
