Anyways, guise, I pulled the data and the receipts to make this poster image to bolster you guys on why Jaheira should WIN

Timeline

• Oct 2023: Tracy Wiles (Jaheira actor) saying Jaheira “has needs” and wanted to ask Larian if they could put a romance in (when she was asked about a romance) [link]
• Mar 2024: Sven Vincke IGN interview said they ran out of time for Jaheira romance [link]
• Sep 2024: The actors were LITERALLY willing to go back to a hotel room to give a Jaheira romance (“pls GOD”) [link]
• Nov 2024: Patch 5 Epilogue release with Jaheira ending tree below [via Dialogs/Act3/EndGame/Epilogue/EPI_Epilogue_Jaheira]

Patch 5 Epilogue Specific Ending Tree... (Spoilers)

An epilogue tree of hers exists where you get to travel with her to Thay and back solo ONLY IF YOU’RE NOT ROMANCING ANYONE (SINGLE!!!!)

Edit - So you need:

• To get to her retirement epilogue (if you don't meet this and she's in her normal, green clothes you're in her 'still a Harper' epilogue)
  • Have 60+ approval (marriage approval for Gale and Wyll ????) before you reach her house/basement (she talks at length about Khalid and Rite of Timeless body scroll - the scroll dialogue is important as it sets a flag for her to 'burn it' (even if there's no animation for this and you don't see this)
  • Completely finish her questline including depositing Minsc to Nine Fingers Keene
• The travel epilogue discussion (additional requirement!)
  • BE SINGLE
    • SURELY WITH ALSO THE 60+ APPROVAL REQUIREMENT THIS IS A SLOW POSTGAME ROMANCE

Thay is 2000-5000 miles away straight line distance depending on the map you use. Moonrise Towers to Baldur’s Gate is only ~120 miles and you skip most of that distance during the act 2 to act 3 via the loading screen for the Shadowcursed Lands to Rivington. This is the *most* Jaheira-coded "I want to get to know you and find out" trip I've ever seen in my entire life.

She also says she wants to take the LONG WAY AROUND to Thay and back? So no ship to Thay, across all of the terrain, making memories of your and her alone after you deposit Minsc in Rashemen. That's maybe 4-6k miles with you and her alone. This is like a 1-2 if not 3 year trip if she's really trying to take her time.

This is so many miles, time, and opportunity to be alone with her SURELY THIS WAS INTENTIONAL for LOVE?

AND she’s dropping Minsc in Rashemen to keep him in Rashemen so that she does not need to be responsible for him anymore and she can truly have her freedom to LOVE without giant Minsc-sized dependent???

Larian felt bad for running out of time and gave us a soft romance out considering her history would mean a romance much slower than the other romances/BG3 timeline?
