Xbox VC still not working
My account is age verified and VC works on mobile, but Xbox has been insanely inconsistent for months.
What’s weird is I’ve actually HAD the mic icon appear before on Xbox.
Reinstalling the game temporarily changed my UI and brought the mic icon back once.
My friend on Xbox kept VC consistently while mine disappeared again even though we both reverted to the same UI version.
It feels like Roblox is rolling it out inconsistently between accounts/sessions.
I’ve tried:
reinstalling
restarting console
checking privacy settings
making sure headset works
verifying VC still works on mobile
Nothing permanently fixes it.
At this point it honestly sucks because a lot of friend groups basically use proximity chat as the main social feature now, and being left out of that on Xbox makes the game feel completely different.
Curious if other people are STILL dealing with this in May 2026.
