First Solo Travel as female
So for context, I have been traveling internationally since I was 7 years old but this is usually with family (at most, 1 female cousin). I’ve been to US twice and even got the chance to go to Europe with the family last 2024.
But I’ve always wanted to try traveling alone since I get so tired with the packed itinerary they have and want to see the place at a slower pace and really take my time to explore. I’m a current graduate student but I also have a full time wfh job where I mostly get my pocket money from for these travels.
My goal is to go back to Seoul next March 2027 during the week break we get from school. But this trip will be fully funded by my earnings from my freelance video editing job (unlike the past trips being funded by family).
So far, what I know is I need to prepare:
- latest ITR
- bank statements (WISE account 3-6 months)
- maybe a COE from my client
- my school idea
- print out of the school calendar to show I truly am on a week break from school
- copy of enrollment maybe?
- printed visa (already have this)
- printed return ticket
- copy of my itinerary and maybe one tour during the week stay
- booking of my hotel
I tend to overthink these things despite this will be my 4th time going to seoul. If I miss anything in that list please enlighten me!
