Blue collar guy who never used his degree and would love some feedback
Hey everyone. I work as a project manager in new construction and I’ve been building websites at night in my spare time. No formal tech background, just learning as I go. Would love any feedback or criticism.
The first one is https://certladder.com which helps IT professionals or beginners find their best pathway sequence of certifications. I have zero IT background but thought it would be a fun crash course in building an affiliate site in an industry I knew nothing about.
The second one is https://whenwillidiecalculator.com, a life expectancy visualizer built on real SSA and CDC actuarial data. You put in your age and lifestyle habits and it shows your estimated lifespan. Honestly became a bit of a personal project. I’ve had OCD since I was a kid and working through mortality stuff in a concrete, data driven way is genuinely how I process it. Figured if it helped me it might help someone else.
Long term I’d like to turn it into an affiliate site but keep the recommendations grounded in stuff that’s actually science backed, not just whatever pays the highest commission.
Any words of advice would be awesome.
