Thinking of joining Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) for BCom (Hons) as a day scholar.
I wanted honest feedback from current students/alumni about a few things:
What’s the actual scene of substance use (weed, alcohol, etc.) on campus? Is it very common/visible or easy to avoid if you’re not into it?(Some of my friend and relatives warned me)
Is the environment safe overall, especially for someone who wants to stay focused and avoid that crowd?
How much peer pressure is there around partying or this kind of lifestyle?
What are the typical “soft expenses” apart from fees? (food, hangouts, travel, events, etc.)
Does being a day scholar vs hostelite make a difference in exposure to all this?
Would really appreciate genuine experiences instead of generic answers 🙏
