To anyone else in mechanical engineering wondering if they can do well on this test: Yes!
Please, Please, Please, listen to what everyone says: you will leave the testing center feeling like you failed. You might only be able to remember the questions you got wrong. That's normal. Our minds fix to and remember negative things more than positive. I couldn't sleep well the two nights before getting my score. I was never more surprised than when I saw the report.
FL Scored: 506, FL 5: 508, FL 6: 515 (taken the three weeks leading up to test)
I think there is somewhat of a shift towards the "new MCAT" that is more logic based.
