on a genuine note I want to ask what are the evidences of Prithviraj being Gurjar ? where clearly he is referred as Gurjar ? after reading Prithviraj Raso , Prithviraj vijaya, Kirtikamaudi (All Gurjara reference was for place , Or for country region identity ) although I found some solid References of Bar Gurjar in that but question comes again are Bargurjars Gurjars or rajput ? some MP Gurjar uses bargujar , But mostly used by raghav rajputs . it's 100% evident that Gurjar was referred to at many places . Gurjara was the place name no doubt about this . but I don't find a single line or reference where it's clearly referred to as Caste ? also no reference of any Gurjar clan . except chauhan . Marital relation of chauhans were also from other states like kalchuri , kannauj.
at the same time I don't find any strong evidence of Prithviraj Chauhan being a rajput .

Also if some X belongs to some community then the community definitely has some oral folklore or oral traditions ( memory ) related to him . I found none in Gurjars ?
