I was a bit worried about trying another Rolife kit as my past experience with that brand was that the wood is so thin and flimsy. I was therefore pleased to find that this kit was a little more robust.

However, I was disappointed at how many of the visible pieces are uncoloured wood. So I decided to try painting most, if not all the visible bits. This is my first attempt at any customisation on a kit.

Part way in and Im a little worried the end result will look too gaudy, but I’ll see how it turns out…
