My motherboard (MSI B450M PRO-M2 MS-7B84) has two different loadline calibration control settings:
- CPU loadline calibration control, which allows you to select a percentage from 0% to 400%
- CPU NB loadline calibration control, which allows you to select options labeled Mode [number], where the number is from 0 to 8
Whenever I look up MSI overvolting guides, I only ever see CPU loadline calibration control without the CPU NB loadline calibration control setting below it. I would normally just assume the "NB" version controls the north-bridge Vdroop, and the non-NB one controls the core Vdroop, but that wouldn't make sense if they are measured using different units (mode # vs %). To make things even stranger, every article and video online shows their non-NB setting using a mode number, while mine uses a percentage?
Also, assuming the percentage setting also controls Vdroop, does a lower or higher percentage mean more Vdroop?
