Mother’s Day gift for me!

Mother’s Day gift for me!

My husband took my nearly 4 year old daughter to Bath and Body Works to pick me out some gifts for Mother’s Day. He said she went straight for the cinnamon sugar coffee cake candle because she knew I really wanted that one, but I had spent too much on the Disney release to justify buying another candle. So cute she remembered! I’m bummed they were out of the ones with the cool bee lids. If you are wondering, it has an amazing throw. I could smell it without even burning or melting.

The cinnamon vanilla is kind of random… I wonder if she could smell the cinnamon and assumed I’d also like that one, or maybe it was just random lol. My husband said the cashier said they need to spend more to use the 10 off 30 coupon. I gave them that coupon along with my free travel sized item, so she could put the coupons on the counter to “buy” the gift for me…. So that’s when she picked out that single wick.

Made my own Mother’s Day Basket

Thanks to everyone’s insight in this Reddit sub about upcoming sales, I was able to spend the past two months watching for the best deals and put together a Mother’s Day basket for my mom at a great price. I also included a fragrance that I know she’ll love — one that was recommended here weeks ago after I shared examples of scents she enjoys. Just wanted to share!

Edit: I was asked if I could itemize what I got (not including tax).
- Candle $9
- Full sized shower gel (my free reward from the Disney drop)
- Room Spray $3
- Lip Gloss $3
- Hand Cream $3
- Hand Soap $3
- Wall flower fill $2.95
- mini FFM, Mini Body Cream, hand sanitizer gift set $6
- Wall flower plug $19.95. I went to her house the day AFTER the 40 percent off the entire store and noticed that 2 of her plugs were kind of leaking out the sides like not dripping but probably should’ve be used, so I decided to get her a new one (I used 20 percent off coupon on the Star wears lunch, so I had to pay full price).

Note: During the buy 2 get 2 free I had either a 20% or 25% off coupon I can’t remember which on top of that deal and I matched similar priced items to maximize savings. I did get myself a candle and my husband a candle he really wanted (wine cellar). Then also got a candle holder that was also $25 to get 4 items in that price range. The candle holder was originally for my mom, but then she was telling me she wanted a warmer so I get her one off of amazon (not pictured), so I kept the candleholder for myself lol. Then I got the gift set so cheap because I got myself the last of the body care I wanted for the Disney launch during the buy 2 get 2 sale. So 3 body care items around the same price as the gift set.
