A perfect little one-nighter that seemed to span two seasons. Saturday was cool, grey and breezy; Sunday was entirely sun and warmth. A canoeing hot tent trip to say, ‘see you later’ to cold weather camping, and, ‘you sure took your sweet time’ to spring. Some short hikes, short paddles, long reading sessions, and good company. The lake was thriving with loon song, owl hoots, coyote calls and beaver tails. Plus, a 14 karat sunset.
