Advice for a new Esthetician

Hi, I am new. Esthetician and I started working at this wax salon three months ago. It is my first job out of school. And the training for this job was a very minimal. I pretty much trained myself as I go. I just received my first negative review. I’ve gotten 8 positive reviews since we started. I am working on my time management and technical skills when it comes to longer hair and curlier hair. This particular client hadn’t waxed or shaved for a year, so it was a difficult service. As far as the other issues I take full responsibility I made a mistake and have since made adjustments to make sure that I confirm each client is who they say they are. The two clients were a couple and I think they just wanted to do it together which is why the one said they were who they weren’t. My boss hasn’t brought this up to me yet and I don’t know if I should bring it up first. I really am trying to do my best. I’m just starting out in this career and I know that I will have issues, but I wanna make sure I still do well.
