I bought a few shares of the New York Times $NYT. For a variety of reasons:
- One of the last sources of evidence best information. Although slightly biased, their opinion pieces are best in the businesses. Also diversifying to games and there crossword,connections, and worlde has a cult like following.
- I go to college and everyone in my massive school of 60k has a free subscription. This must have been millions of dollars.
- Love reading their articles.
Anyways, I bought before Berkshire released their 13F filing. NYT crushed earnings today and is up big. Trust Berkshire they know what they’re doing.
