Potential new user here, been umming and ahhing what to get for quite a while now, and what it boils down to is which will be the best for taking & keeping the sort of notes i need for my fishing. I've tried looking for vids etc online but just not finding any good examples.
I'll list how i envision organising my notes, from the top level to lowest.
Lake - I fish a few, so i'll have a section (or whatever they are called here) for each one.
Swim - Basically the place on the lake from which i'll fish.
Date - I'll log each time i fish, regardless of if i catch anything and various info like weather etc.
Spot - The area/feature i'll be fishing to out in the lake.
Fish - This final item i would need to link to other Spots / Swims. As well as list dates i caught it on etc.
I fancy getting back into drawing also, hopefully these can be included or at least linked to within my notes.
Can all elements be Tagged? and does/can it organise by Tag? Tabs is fine also, regardless of how it does something i'd need something intuitive to work with. And be able to create new items within the above categories with minimal effort.
I believe it OCRs text i write? so that i can search either for the Tag or a specific word.
As i need something small-ish the Nomad looks like the right choice. Do we know if it's due for a refresh this year? i.e. the internal hardware updating to a newer spec? i would hate to by this in a few months and then a few later a newer/better model comes out.
Being in the UK i hope the shipping isn't too much, last i checked i had to get it shipped in from outside.
