The government in Australia taxes cigarettes heavily driving costs up to a minimum of $50 a packet. They have also put a nation wide ban on the sale of nicotine vapes. Tobacco stores and criminal syndicates mass import vapes and illegal cigarettes and sell them under the counter for much cheaper than government cigarettes
