I need help on how I can improve my computing time. I would say I'm pretty ok in math. I understand the concepts and know how it works. But my computing with basic operations aren't 'automatic'. Like even with 9x7, I would need at least 20 seconds to do if I don't have it memorized.
This causes me to do pretty bad in math exams, also because of me doubting my answer even If I know that's the correct one. It usually leads to me thinking that the question I spent at least 10 minutes of the time was actually wrong at the end of the exam.
I've been trying to dedicate at least 30 minutes to 1 hour of my day into doing practice sheets (There's some improvement) and seeing where I'm the weakest in.
I know by practice and repetition it can gradually lead to improvement. I really love math, but this is really demotivating. I always think on how could I love a subject if I'm not even good at it. I don't even know why people kept approaching me to get help with understanding a lesson (I'm not saying this in a bad way.) . It's already summer and I've been trying my best to improve by the time school starts. I know it'll be worse next school year.
