Hello!! I just bought my first home (by myself!) and I need guidance 😮‍💨

The guy who flipped the house painted over the tile walls, shower floor, and bathroom floor with just regular white paint and now I’m inhaling a bunch of fumes to strip it all down and underneath is just outdated 2000s brown tiles. I don’t know of course but I think it might need to be regrouted because I’m having a heck of a time getting the paint of the grout and white looks ridiculous against the tiles.

I’m wondering if I shouldn’t just remove the drywall and put up shower panels in the meantime…maybe replace the floor tiles but I’m not sure. It’s a pretty small bathroom so in *my mind* it doesn’t seem like it would be the biggest project ever but I’m sure i underestimate the effort.

What do you guys think? If need be I can try to link a photo. Just a pain and the reason for the move is because my husband just up and left me and I really am wanting this place to feel homey before I move in as it’s already a hard time for me. Of course I sadly do not have unlimited money so there is a balance…

Thanks so much in advance, I appreciate you guys.
