Hello,

As the title suggests - are there 4 day work weeks (10hr shifts) or part time schedules available as options for this title in the residential centers of OCFS (like OPWDD does for some of the direct care role titles)?

I’m thinking about transferring to a Youth support specialist title from my current PEF position at a different agency.

The five day Monday- Friday work week isn’t as flexible for me, so I am contemplating on applying to a secure care/ direct care role with every other weekend schedules. I understand the OT is mandatory, and I feel okay with doing 16s as long as it is either a 4 day full time schedule or a part time schedule available.

I can always reach out to their HR in Rensselaer (lol) but I also wanted to hear from people who may have knowledge here.
