On my 2003 silverado My power steering seems to have this problem where when it’s on a cold start it’ll work fine and turn fine but after about 5 minutes of driving the power steering gets real stiff almost as if it got hot and it won’t turn as easy and makes a clicking noise when i try to turn without my foot on the gas the cooler behind the grill is rusted out i don’t know if i need to replace it
I just swapped a 5.3 into my cateye it has long tube headers new lifters A big Cold air intake a fresh rebuilt 4l60e with a shift kit and corvette servo it’s pretty quick compared to the v6 that was in it before what else could i do to wake up my 5.3 And make it quicker the 5.3 came out of a 2003 crew cab and is the lm7 it has traction bars and 4.10 gears with a gernade g80 I was thinking if i get a real posi unit will that help with acceleration?
