I know that Malta is extremely safe regarding this topic for lgtbq+ people though. I can’t help but wonder: will it get worse throughout the years?

As a gay teenager living in Malta (with a boyfriend), I see many people say you may get stares from older people as they aren’t very accepting. However, I have never had a problem with any older person. I feel completely safe. However, amongst teenagers, this is a completely different reality. Amongst us, this topic is extremely tense- not many young people seem to like gay people and are even hostile. I know this because I go outside and are amongst teenagers all the time.
