the grommets I can do but before I bias bind I want to add structure around the edges to keep it a sharp look. how can I keep the sharp look?

since I’m still practicing, decided to attempt adding double layer boning to see what it would do to the corset, and it is heavily improved. Lots of things I’d do differently but still learning.

notes: boning made it way more comfortable and actually feel supportive, they non boned version just squeezed me at my waist and although it was comfortable, I wouldn’t say it felt supportive. And after a few uses, the first mockup is already warped, I did just sew it to get a feel of sewing corsets before I sew it again later.

After trying out actual boning and following people tips that were given here, this is a lot more comfortable.

Same pattern.
